Free Medical Camp was conducted at K.K.V.S School, Viruthunagar, organised by Mr. Rajan, Co- ordinator, Akila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangam, Viruthunagar on 29/12/2013. A team of 7 staff members of Shenbagam Diabetes Clinic actively participated in the camp. Around 600 people in and around Viruthunagar attended the camp. Among them 267 people were diabetic, 21 were newly detected as diabetic and 47 were at Pre diabetic stage. Anthropometric measurements were taken for all the patient who attended the camp. Diet counselling was given to the diabetic and pre diabetic patients and finally diet pamplets were distributed to all the patients .
